So Google Lively -- a virtual, web-based environment, similar to Second Life -- nearly passed me by. I heard of it this morning from a colleague and surprisingly not from my Google Reader in which I subscribe to many feeds that cover tech news.

So this happened when the power went out. Upon rebooting, I restored my previous Firefox session and low and behold: no "x" on two of the tabs to close them out. Very strange.

Here's a little something I'm playing around with. I am quite tired of reading about Tasers in my Google Reader and thought I'd try to bother someone else with this. Instances of Tasers died down recently it seems, but they still pop up in the news with enough frequency ...

Perhaps the most unusual aspect of the Daum Museum is not the mind-binding contemporary art it houses, but where the museum itself is situated: at the State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri.
