C-Span Embedded Player Error

So I thought I’d check out C-Span and see what they are serving up today.  And lo and behold I had almost forgotten that you need the ever crappy Windows Media Player or the equally crappy Real Player to tune into one of several channels of their content.

Ben Bernanke and Henry Paulson were speaking on Capitol Hill, so I decided to tune in.  First I go after Flip for Mac to be able to watch Windows Media on a Mac, but then halted installation, thinking, hoping that Perian would do the trick instead.  Nope.  So I opted instead to go for the Real Player.  And just look (at the screen capture above) what happened; a frozen screen from the Real Player across every tab in Firefox.  What crap.

I have a feeling that Windows Media will do the same.
