Make a font from your handwriting with FontCapture

Ran across FontCapture, a service that will turn your handwriting into a font, usable on both Windows and Mac computers.  Just print out a form, fill it out, scan it and upload to the FontCapture site.  Magic is worked, then you can download your custom font and install it.

I would try this out but my handwriting is both atrocious and non-unique.

A suggestion to the folks at FontCapture: let users choose if they’d like to share their handwritten (handwriting?) font.  Maybe provide an option to place a creative commons license on each font too.  This would add much needed, free content to FontCapture.com while giving visitors real, usable examples of the service.
