<p>No one will ever know why I kept a Hotmail account from 1996 until today. Laziness probably.</p>
<p>Here is how to close a Hotmail email account:</p>
<p>1. Open following link:</p>
<p><a href="http://mail.live.com/mail/CloseAccountConfirmation.aspx">Delete MSN, Hotmail or other Windows Live Account</a></p>
<p>If the above link doesn&#8217;t work for you, go to following link:</p>
<p><a href="https://account.live.com/CloseAccount.aspx">Close Windows Live Account</a></p>
<p>2. Enter your mail ID and password.</p>
<p>3. Click on &#8220;Close account&#8221; button.</p>
<p>4. Your account will be reserved for 270 days so that if you want to re-activate it, you can do within 270 days. After 270 days it&#8217;ll be deleted permanently and you&#8217;ll not be able to re-activate it.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">This is the scroll bar on Google Wave.  Neat. Looks like it will eliminate the need for your browser&#8217;s scroll bars.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Push the up and down buttons and a grey bar behind it moves up and down &#8212; along with the Wave pane you&#8217;re reading &#8212; instead of the scroll bar.  But you can also drag the scroll bar itself, old school style, and everything moves with it.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The doohickey at the bottom that kind of looks like a peg is where scrolling terminates.</p>

The image above is a selection of a screen shot from GMail showing a status bar when attempting to attach a file in GMail.  I&#8217;ve read somewhere that this may be happening soon, but today is the first I&#8217;ve seen it in the wild, in my GMail.  I applaud this move.  Nothing is more frustrating than waiting around for a video attachment to upload while the whole office gripes that someone is hogging all the bandwidth.  Now I can at least gauge the progress.</p>
